Graduate Studies Would you like to work toward a career teaching French or Spanish or doing research on literature? Would you like do so without ams narrowly focused on French or Spanish literature toward an exploration of the textual connections between the Old and New Worlds, between the literature of established cultures and that of emerging ones, between traditional forms of expression and alternative or technological ones. This doctoral program engages students and faculty in thegoing into debt? If so, you might want to consider graduate studies in Romance Languages and Literatures at the University of Cincinnati.
Nearly all of our graduate students receive financial support in the form of a complete tuition waiver and a modest salary for teaching basic French or Spanish. In the course of your studies here, our internationally respected faculty will help you establish yourself as a teacher and researcher. Furthermore, our placement rate is excellent both out of the MA programs and the PhD program. We welcome applications from potential students who have some background in literature and are fluent in French or Spanish. Our current students come from Cincinnnati, Ohio, the United States, the Americas, Europe, Africa, and throughout the world.
