Professional Summary
I emphasize a complex-systems approach to understanding psychological and behavioral phenomena. My research focuses on elementary cognitive activities, such as word recognition and decision-making. Currently, my collaborators and I are interested in uncovering empirical evidence that may be used to determine the extent to which the concept of self-organization can be used to explain cognitive performance.
