Professional Summary
Eckard Rademann is an Adjunct Associate Professor of German at theUniversity of Cincinnati, where he teaches German language and culturefor engineering and business. He has worked with the students of the International Coop Program (ICP) forGerman since it originated in 1992 and redesigned the ICP GermanLanguage and Culture program in 1994 when he assumed the role of Masterteacher and Coordinator/Supervisor of the program’s teachingassistants. Each spring since 1996 he has taught a “hands on” two-weekintensive German Language and Culture seminar for the program’sparticipants on location in Cologne, Germany. In 2001 he assumed therole of sole instructor and director of UC’s Munich Summer Program,a three-week intensive German language and culture course taught onlocation in Cincinnati’s sister city Munich, Germany. Since 2002 hebecame the resident director of this program. In addition, Rademannteaches two German for Business courses each fall and winter quarter.

Research Interests
Eckard Rademann's research interests are in the 20th century literature and culture. His primary interest is post war German Literature in particular the works of Heinrich Boell. In recent years, he has also been interested in pedagogy i.e. developing international language and culture programs and teaching materials for students of German in the areas of engineering and business.
