Society for German-American Studies
Established in 1968, the SGAS is an international professional association
if individuals and institutions interested in the field of German-American
studies. SGAS encourages the study of, and promotes the research in
the history, culture, folklore, genealogy, languages, literature and
the creative arts of the German element in North America. The society
publishes a quarterly newsletter and a yearbook to further its purposes.
The newsletter, while containing information concerning the Society,
also contains news on the activities of other organizations with similar
purposes; and short articles on German-Americans. Visit our home page

Yearbook of German-American Studies
Published by the Society for German-American Studies for the purpose
of encouraging the scholarly study of the history, language, literature,

The GACL is the umbrella organization of German-American organizations
in the greater Cincinnati area. The GACL publishes German-American News
