| Students can apply to
the Environmental Studies Program after completion of the following course sequences:
Introduction to Environmental Studies (15-995-101, 02, 03), Chemistry (15-035-101, 2, 3
& 111,12,13), and Biology (15-047-101, 2, 3 & 111,12,13). Prior to admission,
students can be listed as pre-environmental studies. Applications for admission will be
reviewed once each year, after Spring quarter grades are available.
In general, applicants to the program should have a GPA of 3.0 in the Environmental Studies sequence and an overall GPA of 2.5. Please note that meeting these criteria does not guarantee admission to the major. Since program enrollment is limited, openings will be filled by those applicants considered to be best qualified.
