The Department of Economics is pleased to announce that it is looking to fill two tenure-track positions. The job descriptions are given below.

Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Macroeconomics
JEL Classification(s): E, F, O

The Department of Economics at the University of Cincinnati seeks applications for a tenure track assistant professor position in macroeconomics starting September 1, 2009.

The macroeconomic subfields of interest include, but are not limited to, international finance, open economy macro, monetary economics and regional economics.

PhD is required by September 1, 2009. Candidates must show strong research potential and a clear commitment to excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The normal teaching load is 2 courses per quarter with release time possible for very active research agenda.
