Adding a Class
You may add a class online or by filling out an add/drop slip and submitting it in the One Stop Student Service Center or any registration center. Open classes may be added to your schedule online through the first week of class (first two days of the summer quarter). An added class processed after the first week of class will have to be approved by the instructor of the class and the college offering the class. Closed classes may be added by submitting an add slip that has been signed by the instructor and by the college that is offering the class. Classes may be dropped online through the first 15 days of a quarter (two days during summer), although students are reminded that a percentage of the tuition for classes dropped during the second and third week will be charged. Please note: A signature is NOT required for courses offered by the McMicken College of Arts & Sciences. Read the Registrar's complete Add/Drop Policy.
Registering for a Closed Class
The instructor's permission must be obtained to register for a closed class. You should take an add/drop form to the instructor of the closed class and have him/her sign it if he/she will allow you to register for the class. A signed add/drop form must then be signed by the college offering the class and then processed in the One Stop Student Service Center or in any registration center.
