Thanks to alumni, faculty, emeriti and other friends, the college surpassed its fundraising goal by more than $1 million in private gifts during the 2007 fiscal year. The second "We're All UC" campaign drew support from over 200 McMicken faculty, staff and emeriti. Alumni made gifts totaling $124,000 in the college's annual telefund campaign.

The McMicken development staff works closely with faculty, staff and UC Foundation team members to engage alumni and friends, including corporations and foundations. They strive to provide education on McMicken programs and priorities, matching academic funding needs with donors' interests and concerns. The development team will focus this year on scholarship funding, a top priority, along with department needs and special projects.
