Mission

The McMicken College is a community of scholars, writers, and teachers engaged in rigorous academic inquiry, leading-edge research, and creative literary activities. Integrating theory and action, we generate, interpret, preserve and disseminate knowledge. As the intellectual core of the University of Cincinnati, we prepare students at all levels for a lifetime of learning, enabling them to think creatively, reason critically, communicate effectively, and lead responsibly.
