Asymptotics of infinity harmonic functions near isolated singularity

Abstract

In this talk, I first review some basic facts and properties

of infinity harmonic functions (i.e. the limit of p-harmonic

functions as p tends to infinity), which was first introduced by

Aronsson and later studied by Jensen, Evans, Crandall, and

many others.  It also has connection to image recovery,

          random game theory.

Then I will describe a recent work on the asymptotic

behavior of infinity harmonic function near a

non-removable singularity, namely, it is asymptotically

                   a cone:

                                u(x)=u(x_0)+c|x-x_0|+o(|x-x_0|)
