Foundations of Applied Calculus 15-MATH-224
Finite Mathematics 15-MATH-225
Applied Calculus 15-MATH-226, 227

Two possible sequences are available for Applied Calculus. Pre-business students and some science majors are recommended to take the Finite Mathematics and Applied Calculus sequence 225, 226, 227. A Mathematics Placement Test of 530 is a prerequisite for 225. Students with scores below this should take 224 in order to strengthen their mathematics background.

The sequence Math 224, 226, 227 will also satisfy the A&S mathematics requirement and may be taken by students majoring in certain physical sciences (such as biology and geology), economics and pre-medical students. A score of 430 or above on the Mathematics PLacement test is required for Math 224.

Students majoring in mathematics, physics or engineering take the Calculus 251, 252, 253, and 264 sequence.
