Graduate Studies - Graduate Student Association
The Anthropology Graduate Student Association (AGSA) at the University of Cincinnati plans and sponsors events aimed at enriching graduate student life in the Department of Anthropology, both socially and academically. Furthermore, the Association acts as a mentoring system by familiarizing incoming graduate students with university and department procedures. The Association also constitutes a link between the graduate students and the rest of the Graduate Student Government Association by informing anthropology students of graduate workshops, conferences, campus speakers, fieldwork opportunities, and available scholarships. Assuming an active role in the AGSA allows students the opportunity to involve themselves in the events within the department and the University on a more formal level.
