Outreach Series Brings Classics to Life For the Young
Teachers and their students from throughout the region have a new resource to draw upon when studying ancient societies — expertise from one of the world's most well-known classics departments. UC classics faculty and graduate students are available to visit classrooms to share some of the most fascinating aspects of their research.

Study: War's Effect on Baghdad's Adolescents

Alfredo J.
Sosa-Velasco

Alfredo J. Sosa-Velasco grew up as an only child, but he never lacked companionship, conversation or inspiration.

And as a new assistant professor of Romance Languages and Literatures, he brings to the classroom the joy of the myriad lessons gleaned from a giving and diverse group of family, friends and mentors.
