Please join us for Back to College Day on May 16, 2008 and reunite with your former McMicken College classmates! Deadline for RSVP has been extended from Friday, May 2 to Friday, May 9.
Attend a special luncheon with McMicken College Dean Valerie Hardcastle. Stop by and find out what's new with your alma mater. Catch up with one of your former professors or an old college roommate. Feel free to bring your spouse or a guest. The lunch will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the Kingsgate Marriott.
A discussion panel titled "The Early Presidential Campaign of 2008: The Good, the Bad, and Maybe - the Ugly" will be held in 127 McMicken hall at 5:30 p.m. The panel will feature several faculty members who specialize in areas such as women and minorities in politics, the history of American presidential elections, and the sociology of politics. The panel will also include Bob Hynes, a '59 McMicken College graduate whose career has included working more than 40 years directly and indirectly on Capitol Hill.
Following the discussion panel will be a cocktails and hors d'oeuvres reception just outside 127 McMicken Hall at 7:00 p.m. This will be a great opportunity to mingle with faculty, staff, and former classmates.
