Writing Center

Spring Quarter Hours: April 7 - June 13

Monday          10:00AM - 7:00PM

Tuesday         10:00AM - 7:00PM

Wednesday   10:00AM - 7:00PM

Thursday       10:00AM - 7:00PM

Friday             10:00AM - 5:00PM

The Center is generally open week two and exam week on a limited basis. We are closed on weekends, university holidays, and between terms. Please call 556-3912 for hours and appointments.

About Us

Our primary function is to consult with those who come to the Center to become more competent and self-confident writers by helping them improve their writing skills. We do not provide editing or proofreading services, though we will be happy to address mechanical and grammatical questions within a tutoring session. We are charter members of the Ohio Writing Center Consortium.

We are located on the second floor of McMicken Hall in room 257.

About Our Staff

Our tutoring staff is drawn from a pool of UC writing instructors familiar with college-level writing problems and ways to solve them. Our reception staff is drawn from students in the work/study program.
